Raglan Whaingaroa is a town on the west coast of New Zealand’s North Island. Part of the Waikato region, it is a 45 minutes west of Hamilton by car. It is best known for surfing and the arts. The world class surf beaches just south of the town attract surfers from around the world. Mount Karioi, the wild westerly wind and the harbour provide a setting that is the ideal catalyst for artistic creativity whether the art is painting, carving, weaving, writing, or music.
The Raglan Website reflects the Raglan NZ soul providing information for tourists and the local Whaingaroa community. You’ll find news, events, weather, tides and listings of local businesses, restaurants, accommodation providers and community service and support organisations.
