Comparing the current and proposed drawings, I think the boat span starts 46.6m (6 x 6.55 + 7.3) from the Raglan bank on the current bridge and 50.41m (23.6+23.31+3.5)) on the new bridge. It only looks like it moves to the town side because the new bridge extends another 35m the other way. Is “Moving the boat channel to the town side ” correct?
