Stallholders get ready for the big day

Whatever you like to call it;  Community Day, Children’s Day, Maui Dolphin Day, Seaweek, or Xtreme Recycled Raft day,  it was clear that Saturday was a big success with huge crowds watching and taking part in the festivities.   There was the usal mix of stalls and tents at Kopua with local groups running fund raising stalls with freshly prepared kai.

A new feature this year was the play, ‘A Recycled Tale’ staged by local children under the watchful eye of Dramatrix’s Colette MCenery-Lane who wrote and directed the play.
